Pres. Trump dismisses Natl. Security Adviser John Bolton

President Donald Trump has dismissed his national security adviser, John Bolton.

The President announced his decision by tweet Tuesday morning.

Saying he had disagreed “strongly”with many of Bolton’s suggestions, Mr. Trump said he asked for Bolton’s resignation Monday evening, and received it Tuesday morning.

“I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore….

The President says he plans to name a new national security adviser next week.
