Prepared civilian helps put out vehicle fire in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. – In Rapid City officials were called to a vehicle fire off 100 Stummer Road on Saturday afternoon. There were 5 people in the car, two adults and three children.

They exited the car when they noticed smoke coming from the vehicle. They all got out on time and there were no injuries.

A prepared civilian had a fire extinguisher on hand and helped put out most of the fire before the fire department got on scene.
