Prep Basketball Roundup: Central girls wrap up the regular season with loss to SF Washington
RAPID CITY, S.D. – The regular season has officially come to an end for the Class ‘AA’ basketball teams in South Dakota.
The Rapid City Central girls lost to top-ranked Sioux Falls Washington on Saturday at Naasz Gymnasium.
Ndjakalenga Mwennentanda scored 22 points to lead the Warriors past the Cobblers, 41-25.
Central was led by Josie Hill with 12 points.
Central earned the fifth seed in the SoDak 16.
So the Cobblers will host Watertown on Friday, March 4 with the winner moving onto the State AA Girls Basketball Tournament.
Meanwhile, the Rapid City Stevens girls defeated Sioux Falls Lincoln on Saturday, 43-37.
The Raiders will host Brookings in the SoDak 16.
