Police seize over 1/2 pound of meth from St. Francis home

Four people taken into custody

ST. FRANCIS, S.D.  – Four people are behind bars after authorities seized over half a pound of meth and a large amount of cash from a St. Francis home.

According to a press release from the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services, the Rosebud Sioux Tribes Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the West Housing Area of St. Francis Community on Friday.

In the home, police seized:

• Around 256 grams of methamphetamine
• $6,866 in cash
• A loaded 9mm handgun
• Various forms of drug paraphernalia which police say is used for distribution.

Police also arrested four Rosebud Tribal members in the incident.
