Police respond to stabbing incident in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. — On Monday police were called to a stabbing incident at 1160 North Lacrosse Street.

According to authorities, at around 4:05 p.m. a male subject walked into a gas station located in the area with a stab wound.

Police made contact with the man and he was transported to Rapid City Regional Hospital.

During the investigation, witnesses were only able to provide limited and inconsistent information about what transpired.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
