Police respond to Rapid Valley rollover accident

RAPID CITY S.D. — At least one person was placed into police custody on Friday night after a single-vehicle rollover.

After 7:00 p.m, police responded to Twilight Drive in Rapid Valley for a rollover accident. A driver rolled a Ford truck, which came to rest on its side in someone’s front yard. Traffic was briefly slowed down while first responders cleaned up the crash.

It’s unclear if there were any injuries in the crash or how it happened.

The crash remains under investigation.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol, the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, and the Rapid Valley Fire Department all responded to the crash.
