Police identify pedestrian struck and killed in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Police have identified a man who was struck and killed by a motorist while crossing a street in Grand Forks.

Officers say 65-year-old David Hagen, of Grand Forks, was walking across the road outside the crosswalk about 10 p.m. Monday when he was struck by a car driven by a 40-year-old Grand Forks man.

First responders attempted CPR, but Hagen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the details of the crash are still under investigation. No criminal charges have been filed.
