Police chase ends with residential crash in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A police chase through Clay County, Minnesota ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed in Fargo and flipped upside down in a residential yard.

KFGO reports that the 28-year-old female driver of the vehicle was taken from the scene by ambulance about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Witness Ann Christos estimates the driver was doing about 70 miles an hour in the neighborhood before crashing. The vehicle hit a tree and a chain link fence before landing on its hood.

The woman, identified as Daniel Franklin, fled a traffic stop in Moorhead before taking police on the high speed chase. Franklin has been arrested for felony escape and drug possession

Her passenger, 28-year-old Skyler Dauphinais, was also arrested for a drug warrant. Both women were medically cleared after the crash and taken into custody.
