PHOTOS: Things to know about the Spearfish Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Spearfish Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch started its 10th year, ran by Spearfish Valley Produce.

There is a number of activities to enjoy, along with the patch and the maze. There is also food and drinks as well.

Here is a few things to know:

  • The corn maze and pumpkin patch is open every weekend until Halloween.
    • Operation Hours (September 3 – October 27)
      • Friday: 4 – 8 p.m.
      • Saturday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
      • Sunday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    • Corn Maze Cost
      • Adults (13 years old & up): $12
      • Youth (ages 4 to 12): $10
      • 3 & under: Free
        • Ask about military and senior discounts.
  • There are eight stamp stations in the maze. If you get one, you win a piece of candy. If you get all eight, you get a prize.
    • There are also maps that can help guide people through the maze.
  • All activities close once it is dark.
  • No more maze entries are taken after 7 p.m.
  • The Scare Maze will be open Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 7 to 10 p.m.
    •  Regular maze open 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday, October 29.
  • No pets are allowed in the maze.
  • The pumpkin patch offers various sizes and shapes.
    • The cost of each one is based on the size of the pumpkin.
    • Pumpkins are sold separately from the corn maze cost.
  • Other activities available:
    • A hay jump, tire climb, duck race, hay slide, bee-line, barrel train, bale pets, corn box and petting zoo.
