Perkins County Sheriff seeks public’s assistance in solving vandalism incidents

LEMMON, S.D. — The Perkins County Sheriff’s Department is requesting assistance from the public in solving a series of vandalism incidents in the city of Lemmon.

These incidents, which authorities say have occured over the last few weeks, are concentrated on the vandalism of vehicles, and include the slashing of tires.

Lemmon residents are asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office if they have seen any suspicious activity or if they have any information that may lead to identifying any suspect(s). Those reporting information can call the Sheriff’s Office in Lemmon at 605-374-5651 or if it is an emergency call 911.
