Pennington County Commission to hold special meeting Friday

PENNINGTON COUNTY, S.D. — The Pennington County Commission has called a special meeting for this Friday to push a resolution asking the residents and businesses to follow C.D.C. guidelines.

With language similar to Rapid City’s Ordinance, the county is asking everyone to keep the Black Hills healthy.

Gary Drewes, Pennington County Commissioner, said “It’s the responsibility of the individuals to take this on, to accept the seriousness of it.”

Drewes says the resolution will not be enforced formally, but hopes everyone will do their part.
