Over 37,000 absentee ballots estimated to be counted in Pennington County

RAPID CITY, S.D. — As the 2020 Presidential Election draws near, many are wondering what the final poll numbers will look like.

According to Cindy Mohler of the Pennington County Auditor’s Office, the final numbers won’t be available until tomorrow but they’re expecting to count over 37,000 absentee ballots for the election.

Mohler says that the Auditor’s Office has sent out out 23,000 absentee ballots and has received 21,500. Over 15,000 people have voted in person with over 900 people voting so far on Monday.
