One person shot in Capitol building; VP Pence: “attack on the Capitol will not be tolerated”

WASHINGTON — NBC News is reporting that one person has been shot at the U.S. Capitol as dozens of Trump supported storm the building and clash with police. Their condition is not known at this time. Circumstances around the shooting are not clear, but the victim has been taken to the hospital.
Vice President Mike Pence also tweeted from a secure location this afternoon that the violence must stop.
