One person removed from Rapid City crash

RAPID CITY S.D. – Police responded to a car accident on Friday afternoon where one person was extricated.

Around 4:00 p.m, the Rapid City Police and the Rapid City Fire Department responded to the crash at the intersection of 5th Street and Kansas City Street. One driver had minor injuries, and a second driver refused to be evaluated by emergency personnel.

The crash also completely destroyed the front porch of a house on 5th Street.

Traffic was held up while police and emergency responders cleaned up the crash.
