Not everything can be sold on Facebook Marketplace. That includes tiger cubs.
Police in Phoenix have arrested a 25-year-old man for trying to sell a tiger cub on social media.
Officers rescued the cat from the man’s home Monday night.
When police found out about the tiger, they posed as potential buyers and negotiated a deal online.
The seller thought he was about to get 20 thousand dollars, according to the Arizona Republic.
Instead, officers showed up at his house with a warrant.
The suspect is charged with illegal possession of live wildlife.
The tiger cub was turned over to the Arizona game and fish department.
