North Dakota reports 3 more COVID-19 deaths, 196 new cases

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota health officials say three more people have died from COVID-19 in the state, bringing the overall death toll from the pandemic to 1,403.

An additional 196 new cases of the virus were confirmed. There have been more than 96,500 cases of COVID-19 since last March.

Officials say 93,980 people have recovered. Fifty-three people remained in a hospital Friday, down one from the previous day.
