North Dakota reports 15 new COVID-19 deaths

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The state of North Dakota reported 15 new deaths related to COVID-19 on Saturday, and 593 new confirmed cases of the virus.

Since the pandemic began, the state has seen 336 deaths and 26,628 total cases. The number of active cases rose to 4,169 while the number of hospitalizations rose to 140 — both new records that beat previous highs set just a day earlier.

The new deaths include nine women and six men, all in their 70s or older, and all had underlying health conditions.
