No bond set for Pine Ridge murder suspect

RAPID CITY, S.D. — A federal judge ruled on Monday morning that Colton Bagola, the man accused of killing 30-year-old Sloane Bull Bear, will remain behind bars.

Bagola pleaded not guilty to second degree homicide last week for allegedly shooting Bull Bear in the head in Pine Ridge. Bagola was set to appear in federal court to argue bail but the hearing was cancelled after Bagola consented to staying behind bars.

He is set to appear again in court January 6.
