Nebraska authorities search for missing person with South Dakota ties

GERING, Neb — Authorities in Nebraska are searching for a missing man with South Dakota ties who disappeared on Saturday night.

Chance Englebert was last seen around 7 p.m. on July 6 — and his phone location was last placed at a WTT truck stop in Scottsbluff.

Englebert is 5 foot 9, medium build and has sun-lightened brown hair. He was last seen wearing a short-sleeved wrangler shirt, wrangler jeans, roper boots and a black and white trucker cap.

A web search shows Englebert is from Burdock, South Dakota and attended Edgemont High School.

The Gering Nebraska Police Department is asking anyone with information that might lead to his whereabouts contact them at 308-436-5088.
