ND adds 136 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths Tuesday

BISMARCK, N.D. — On Tuesday, the North Dakota Department of Health added 136 positive cases of COVID-19, for a daily positivity rate of about 4.24%. Active cases rose by 19 to 786.

100 additional people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries in the state to 96,564.

46 people are currently hospitalized, up four from Monday. Eight of those patients are in the intensive care unit.

The following counties have recorded new positive cases:

  • Cass County (Fargo) – 32 cases
  • Ward County (Minot) – 22 cases
  • Grand Forks County (Grand Forks) – 20 cases
  • Burleigh County (Bismarck) – 19 cases
  • Williams County (Williston) – six cases

No deaths were reported on Tuesday, leaving the states death toll at 1,431 since the pandemic began.

101,203 North Dakotans (13.8%) have received a first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, while 50,043 residents (6.8%) have received two doses.
