Native Vendor Market Promotions: pre-Christmas Stocking Stuffer Event

RAPID CITY, SD — The Native Vendors Market Promotions held it’s pre-Christmas stocking stuffer event at the Mother Butler Hall this weekend. Jewelry, clothing and artwork were all available for purchase, and was an opportunity for vendors to show their creations. There was a 50/50 raffle and even Indian Tacos for those hoping to munch while shopping. The Native Vendors Market Promotions is a new organization that began this past June, but already has several large markets already under it’s belt. The organization was present for the Wacipici and will also be represented at the Lakota Invitational.

Eric Yellow Boy, co-founder of the organization says “We want to help a lot of the local small vendors who have incredible stuff that they want to sell. We want to be an outlet for them to bring their stuff, come to a location that’s centralized here at the Mother Butler Center, that they can bring their stuff and showcase what they have to offer.”

Yellow Boy says although the group is called the Native Vendors Market Promotions, it is open to all vendors.
