National Organization joins search for Serenity Dennard

RAPID CITY S.D. – The search for 9-year-old Serenity Dennard, who went missing from the Children’s Home Society last month is now gaining national attention.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released a video on Friday to help track down Serenity. The video joins hundreds of other missing childrens’ from across the country, in an effort to raise awareness.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children recently reached out to the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office to help out.

“They looked at our investigation, everything we’ve been doing up to this point, just to see that they have any ideas with that,” said Chief Deputy Willie Whelchel with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office. “Like I said locally, I believe we’re doing everything we can do.
