National HS Finals Rodeo: Thayne Elshere finishes as Reserve Champion in the Saddle Bronc
GILLETTE, WY – The National High School Finals Rodeo wrapped up on Saturday in Gillette, Wyoming.
Thayne Elshere from Hereford, SD was crowned the reserve champion in the saddle bronc with 226 points on three head.
He finished three points behind Statler Wright from Utah who finished with 229 points.
Overall South Dakota finished sixth in the team standings with 4,258.75 points.
Texas finished in first place.
