National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recalls more than 59,000 Dorel child car seats

Attention parents, a popular brand of car seat is being recalled. Dorel Juvenile Group is recalling more than 59,000 Safety 1st and Maxi-Cosi car seats.
The company says the anchors used to secure the base may fail, which would allow the seat to detach from the car.
Dorel says it will mail a replacement to owners for free and that they’re mailing letters to people who may own the car seats.
