National Finals Rodeo: Jace Melvin wins Round 5 in the steer wrestling

ARLINGTON, TX – The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo has reached the halfway point with the fifth round on Monday.

Jace Melvin from Fort Pierre tied for first with Matt Reeves in the steer wrestling with a time of 3.9 seconds.

Melvin won $23,481 for his performance.

Meanwhile, Jamie Howlett from Rapid City scored 86 points in the bareback riding.

He finished in 6th place and pocketed $4,231.
