Murder suspect charged in Hemlock Street shooting incident

RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Rapid City murder suspect has been charged in the shooting incident that occurred in early September.

Jamys Flying Horse, 22, is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and commission of felony with a firearm.

Flying Horse was involved in the September 6 shooting at a residence in the 3400 block of Hemlock Street that took the life of one man, and injured another.

He is charged with first-degree murder for the death of William Clifford, and attempted first-degree murder for another man in the incident. The commission of felony with a firearm is due to Flying Horse being armed with a firearm while committing the acts of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
