Multiple felony drug arrests made in Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS, S.D. — The Hot Springs Police Department, Hot Springs Police Reserves and the Fall River County Sheriff’s Office conducted a high risk search warrant of a residence in Hot Springs, resulting in several felony drug arrests.

According to Hot Springs Police Department Captain Bill Wainman, on Monday, November 11 at 9:00 a.m., the officers were able to enter the residence through an unlocked door and arrest the three suspects without incident, injuries or damage to the property.

One 19-year-old male was charged with Ingestion of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Ingestion of Marijuana and Underage Consumption.

A 20-year-old male was charged with Ingestion of a Controlled Substance, Ingestion of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A 19-year-old-female was charged with Ingestion of a Controlled Substance, Ingestion of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Along with the arrests, a shotgun was taken into evidence, but no firearms-related charges have been filed.
