Police catch wanted Rapid City inmate overnight

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The latest on a minimum-security inmate leaving the Rapid City Community Work Center without permission.

Oct. 5

Bryan Matthew Briley-Huehl is back in custody. He was caught by authorities overnight and is currently in the Pennington County Jail.

Minimum-security inmate Bryan Matthew Briley-Huehl is on escape status after leaving the Rapid City Community Work Center without authorization Thursday.

Authorities say the risk to the public is moderate, meaning there is a possible threat to life or property. Contact law enforcement if you see him or know of his whereabouts.

The 22-year-old inmate is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 154 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Briley-Huehl is serving time for an attempted burglary charge in the second degree out of Pennington County.
