Michelle Wheatley named acting Superintendent of Wind Cave National Park

 

WIND CAVE NATIONAL PARK, S.D. — Wind Cave National Park has a new acting superintendent.

She is Michelle Wheatley, a 20-year veteran of the National Park Service and she is currently the Superintendent of Jewel Cave National Monument.

Prior to her time at Jewel Cave, Wheatley worked in various capacities in Colorado and was a Seasonal Park Ranger at Yellowstone National Park. She’s expected to serve at Wind Cave through October.
