Man who took police on chase through North Rapid City faces 6 charges

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Casey Whiteeagle, allegedly took police on a joy-ride Wednesday evening which ended with police shooting out the vehicle tires and deploying the use of a beanbag shotgun as well as a taser.

Today, Whiteagle has been charged with 6 counts in total, 2 misdemeanors. The 4 felonies include 2 counts of aggravated assault against police officers, 1 aggravated eluding, 1 possession of drug or substance (Meth was found in the vehicle Whiteeagle allegedly was driving the night of the incident), and 2 additional misdemeanors.

Whiteeagle’s bond has been set at $15,000 cash only.
