Man sentenced to 14 years on meth charge
RAPID CITY, S.D. — A man from Yuba City, California has been sentenced for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance in South Dakota.
Records show that from January 2016 to September 2017, Juan Poryaco, 49, supplied approximately 10 kilograms of methamphetamine to people in Rapid City to distribute. Poryaco supplied the meth while still living in California.
Porcayo was sentenced on February 28 to 14 years in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release.
