Man faces charges in crash near Scenic

SCENIC, S.D. — One person faces charges after a two-car crash west of Scenic.

The Highway Patrol says the accident happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning on Highway 44 when a Ford Sedan crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a Buick SUV.

The man driving the Ford suffered serious non-life threatening injuries. He’s now facing charges.

Two adults were injured in the Buick, but their 16, 13 and 10 year-old passengers were fortunately not hurt.

Police have not released the names of those involved.

The crash remains under investigation.
