Man dies at Founder’s Park; no foul play suspected

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Police are investigating a death at Founder’s Park Monday morning.

Medical personnel were called to the park around 9 a.m. for a possible cardiac arrest. They arrived to find a man in his 40s who needed medical care.

The medical crew administered CPR, but the man stopped breathing and died at the park.

Brendyn Medina with the Rapid City Police Department says there were obvious signs of alcohol consumption, and there were no signs of foul play.
