Man cited for reckless driving after hitting residence on West Chicago Street

RAPID CITY, S.D. — One man was taken to the hospital for treatment after crashing his car into a house on West Chicago Street late Sunday night.

Rapid City Police say that around 11:10 p.m. the vehicle struck a light pole and a parked car before hitting the outside of a residence in the 3600 block of West Chicago Street.

The driver has been cited for reckless driving and no proof of insurance.

The crash remains under investigation.
