Man arrested after reportedly threatening group with gun

RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Rapid City man has been arrested after he reportedly threatened several people with a handgun over a parking dispute.

The incident happened Tuesday at around 1 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Silver Street. Upon arrival, they made contact with one of the individuals who said they were threatened, and learned that the suspect who threatened the group lived on the street.

The victim told police that the suspect had threatened the group with a handgun during a dispute about a vehicle that was parked at the curb in front of the man’s home.

Police made contact with the suspect, 26-year-old Brandon Terry, outside of his home. He was placed under arrest for aggravated assault and taken to the Pennington County Jail.
