Make-A-Wish celebrates World Wish Day with new campaign

On April 29th, Make-A-Wish celebrates the 40th annual World Wish Day, which is the anniversary day of the organization.

This year’s World Wish Day includes the launch of a campaign called Wishes Need Stars Like You, that unites the shared presence of everyday people with sponsors to bring hope to wish kids during challenging times.

Make -A -Wish is taking this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of the community as a whole to grant wishes to critically ill children and their families.

Sue E. Salter, President and CEO of Make -A-Wish South Dakota, says, “[It’s] a really solid way to rally the collective power of all those who come together, ordinary people who come together, volunteers and donors to make wishes come true.”
