Main Street Square marks the end of skating season with a visit from the Rapid City Rush

RAPID CITY, S.D. — To mark the final night of skating at Main Street Square for the winter season, the rink hosted “Skate with the Team,” where skaters were joined by members of the Rapid City Rush.

The event ran from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with every member of the team and Coach Scott Burt all participating.

“I think it’s great for our players to be out, to be seen. There’s a lot of times through the year that our players are so busy with practice or on the road that we don’t get the opportunity to be out here with the people of Rapid City,” says Coach Burt. “I think it’s a great opportunity. I also think it’s a great little rink they have downtown that they built, so I think it’s awesome. I think it’s great that our players are coming out and our players are getting involved for sure.”
