Main Street Square announces the 2022 Golden Hour Live headliners
RAPID CITY, S.D. — Main Street Square announces the headliners for the third annual Golden Hour Live concert series.
The event will feature The Yawpers, a three-piece band that crafts tunes engrossed in creative context, and Nappy Roots, a best-selling hip-hop group with two Grammy nominations and multiple American Music Award and Soul Train Awards.

The Yawpers will kick off the Golden Hour Live on June 18 with Nappy Roots following August 20, and both events are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“It’s fantastic to get such great talent yet again for our Golden Hour Live series,” said Main Street Square President & CEO Domico Rodriguez. “We’re extremely excited to host bands of this caliber for Rapid City. I’ve been a Nappy Roots fan since their first album so it’s pretty cool to have them grace the Main Street Square stage.”
VIP Patio Passes, Deluxe Tables and Luxury Cabanas will be available for the event in August where passholders can enjoy a variety of perks like a special entrance, stage-viewing space, limited liquor bar and private restrooms. The free, public area will be open as well.
VIP Patio Passes are available for $30 online and each passholder receives a souvenir Coors Light cup. Deluxe tables and Luxury Cabanas include additional benefits.
You can see a full list of pricing and perks here, and pre-sale for these passes ends Thursday, June 16 at noon. Day of and pre-purchased passes, tables and cabanas will be available for pick up at the VIP entrance on the day of the event, however pre-sale items will not be mailed or available for pick up prior to the event.
