Low 60s in the forecast for Tuesday
Clouds will increase as the day progresses. We'll see mostly cloudy skies as we roll into the evening hours. -Meteorologist Erik Dean
Tuesday evening: The clouds will start to increase. Overnight lows will be in the upper 30s – low 40s with a light East wind @ 5-10 MPH.
Warming up. As we head into the remainder of the week, we’ll see abundant sunshine as high pressure is, what I like to say, large, and in charge, and it’ll be around for a while. As a matter of fact, take a look at the highs for the next 3 days across the region.
Wednesday: We’ll turn up the temperature just a smidge by the afternoon hours with highs in the Upper 60s – Low 70s. A light wind will be in play throughout the day.
Thursday: Now we are starting to feel the “heat” a little bit with temps nearing 80°. The wind will start to pick up a little bit between 10-15 MPH.
Friday: How about temperatures in the mid-upper 80s to start the Memorial Day weekend. There is a little bit of a caveat to Friday. I’m not going to rule out a chance of thunderstorms Friday evening.
Bottom Line: Overall not a bad 7-Day. I am keeping an eye on Memorial Day weekend as temperatures will cool off again and thunderstorm chances will be on the increase. We desperately need the rain, so at this point, any moisture is much needed.
