Local Facebook group keeping community and businesses together

RAPID CITY, S.D. — During times of uncertainty amid coronavirus concerns, Elevate Rapid City is still doing its part to keep the relationship between the community and businesses convenient for the public.

It’s not as easy to have a nightlife right now. Maintaining any sort of eating-out habits and supporting local businesses has now become restricted to a certain degree with the latest restaurant and bar closings.

Enter Elevate Rapid City.

Elevate Rapid City is excited to bring the people of Rapid City a Facebook group called “Rapid City to Go”. This is for local businesses around the area to share their menus and current offerings while still practicing social distancing.

The goal is simple. Support local businesses, even in these difficult times.

It’s important to shop, stay and support local businesses, and the group helps to make it easier. It’s equally as important to do so while also maintaining a safe distance.

If you would like to join the group as an owner of a business, ask to join the group and do the following:

1. List your restaurant/business name
2. List your phone number
3. List any special offers or deals
4. Make sure your post is readable and your message is simple and clear.
5. List your address
