RAPID CITY, S.D. – It may be cold outside, but the competition is heating up at the Lakota Nation Invitational Basketball Tournament.
The White River boys basketball team has been dominate over the last 15 years.
Since 2007, the Tigers have won eight LNI titles and finished runner up four times.
The Tigers are now heading back to the finals after they beat Lakota Tech on Friday in the semifinals, 52-43.
Joe Sayler and TJ Beardt each had 20 points for White River.
Meanwhile, the Tatanka were led by Wakiya Cuny with 12 points followed by Marvin Richard III with 11.
