A severe weather system of strong storms is quickly moving from western Wyoming into the Black Hills.

The storms are moving east at nearly 50 mph and have a history of producing ping pong sized hail and heavy wind gusts. They are not expected to weaken as they pass through and could cause damage to pets and property.

Residents should take precautions and prepare to move indoors.
