Legion Baseball: Post 320 falls to Sturgis in season opener

STURGIS, S.D. – Baseball is finally back.

The Sturgis Titans hosted the Rapid City Post 320 Stars on Wednesday.

The Stars scored three runs in the top of the first inning to take the early lead.

However, the Titans answered in the bottom half of the first inning with six runs and Sturgis went on to beat Post 320, 13-3.

David Anderson pitched all five innings and had four strikeouts for Sturgis.

Meanwhile, Mitch Sand had six strikeouts in three innings of work for Post 320.

The Titans were led by Zach Hess who finished with four RBIs

The Titans improve to 2-0 on the season after a convincing win over Belle Fourche on Tuesday night.
