Leading scorer set to return to the Rapid City Rush

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Logan Nelson was a dominant force on the ice last year for the Rapid City Rush.

Now the 28-year old is hoping for the same type of performance as he returns to the Rush for the 2022-23 season.

Nelson appeared in 56 games for the Rush and led the team with 60 points, 22 goals and 38 assists.

He also set new career-highs in points, goals and assists during what was his eighth professional season.

Plus this past year, Nelson was named an All-Star for the first time in his career.

The forward from Rogers, Minnesota also led the Rush during the postseason with eight goals and six assists.

The Rush open the season on Friday, October 21 in Utah.
