Lakota Nation Invitational schedule changed
RAPID CITY, S.D. – The 46th Lakota Nation Invitational (LNI) wrestling competition began Tuesday and will continue, with some schedule changes, despite winter storm conditions.
The Championship round, originally scheduled for 6:00 p.m. will now start at 3:00 p.m.
“The safety of all of the competitors is first and foremost to the event organizers,” said Craig Baltzer, executive director of The Monument. “With a majority of teams in town the competition will continue, but flexibility will be the name of the game.”
The basketball tournament will start on Wednesday with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. Brackets, times, and locations of games can be found on the LNI website.
