Keystone businesses benefiting from reopening of Mount Rushmore

KEYSTONE, S.D. — The re-opening of Mount Rushmore has been beneficial for some Keystone businesses.

Dairy queen, Holy Terror Coffee and Subway in the Keystone Mall have all seen an up swing in customers. For Holy Terror Coffee, specifically, business has been record breaking.

“Last Saturday and Sunday, we broke our all-time record at the coffee shop,” said Jeff Kingsbury, the Manager of Holy Terror Coffee. “Today we broke that record again because (Mount) Rushmore opened officially and it has been crazy”.

Kingsbury hopes the trend will continue throughout the summer.
