Jakeb Sullivan leads Frankfurt to a European football title

Jakeb Sullivan had a stellar football career at St. Thomas More and South Dakota Mines.

Now he’s making a name for himself in Europe.

Sullivan led the Frankfurt Galaxy to victory on Saturday, Sept. 26 in the inaugural championship game of the European League of Football or ELF.

Frankfurt rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat the Hamburg Sea Devils, 32-30.

Sullivan was named the ELF’s first-ever championship game MVP.

Overall, the former Division II quarterback was 24 of 37 for 324 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.

In addition, he also ran for 38 yards on seven carries and scored a rushing touchdown with 23 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to secure the victory for the Galaxy.
