International Allies join the National Guard for the Golden Coyote

RAPID CITY, S.D. – One of the allied forces joining us for the Golden Coyote is the Canadian Armed Forces.

They will be here until the end of next week to work side-by-side with the South Dakota National Guard, along with several other international servicemen.

Throughout the training, they do war training, fire training, teamwork, and much more.

“We typically always work with our allies, very rarely do the United States or any NATO countries go to places like the Middle East without working with their fellow allies,” said Lt. Col. Eric Gilson, with the Canadian Armed Forces.

For decades Canada along with other allies have assisted the U.S during times of war and on deployments.
