Inferno Pizza honors healthcare workers on National Doctors’ Day

RAPID CITY, S.D. — With all the focus on the hard work of healthcare workers during this coronavirus pandemic, one local business decided to do something for the emergency room workers at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.

In honor of National Doctors’ Day, celebrated on Monday, March 30 this year, Inferno Pizza in Rapid Valley delivered a whole bunch of pizzas to the emergency room in time for lunch.

Governor Kristi Noem also honored doctors in a tweet for National Doctors’ Day on Monday, offering a special thanks to all the doctors on the front lines, “today and every day.”
