Hundreds of vendors take on the Black Hills for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Although the rally is in Sturgis the surrounding cities are getting in on the action. Black Hills Harley Davidson at exit 55 in Rapid City has several events and dozens of vendors.

The vendors range from your basic t-shirts to bike parts, bike detailing, and advanced speaker systems. One vendor says his team has been quite busy customizing motorcycles.

“We’ve probably done around 30 motorcycles so far. We usually do about 80 a show,” said Michael Mauldin with Skully Customs.

For those who don’t ride motorcycles, they also have essential oils, gun holsters, jewelry, and food and drinks. Most of the vendors will stay at the Harley -Davidson Vendor’s park until the end of the rally.
